ORANGE PARK – Children who were born prematurely at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and their parents returned to Orange Park Medical Center last weekend to meet with their doctors and nurses at the Third Annual NICU Reunion. Children toured an ambulance and helicopter, saw the equipment needed to care for tiny babies, enjoyed face-painting, balloon artists, games and a ceremony where three families shared their stories of surviving premature births. One family included twins London, left, and Kingston Taylor, who were delivered by C-section seven weeks early. London was 5-pounds, 4 ounces at delivery, while Kingston was 4-12. London spent two weeks at the NICU and Kingston, who had respiratory problems, was at the unit for three weeks. Both now are 14 weeks old and doing fine. Also pictured with two representatives of the hospital are: from left, mother Adriana, sister Ayana and father Kevin Taylor.
