KEYSTONE HEIGHTS— The Florida Forest Service- Jacksonville District said that two prescribed burnings will be taking place in the county on Wednesday.
Mike Roess Gold Head Branch State Park will be conducting a 101-acre operation for silviculture and ecological purposes. It will take place on the north end of the park off of Park Road.
Additionally, a private landowner will be conducting a 65-acre operation for silviculture and hazard removal purposes north of State Road 16 West and west of Thunder Road.
If you are in either of the areas, you are asked to exercise caution.
