David King Offering free help with loan documents for business owners

ORANGE PARK – In partnership with the Clay Chamber, Clay County business attorney David King is offering to help local businesses with loan documents required for SBA and other government-back loans at no charge. After they have their loan approved, King said he can help business owners understand the loan documents, provide witnessing and notarizing services.

After their loan has been approved, and after they have received their loan documents, “I sit down and explain what they are signing and what they are agreeing to. We can provide witnessing and Notary services, all at no charge,” he said.

In conjunction with the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, King provided similar services to business owners following recent hurricanes when they received SBA loans. He said a number of local banks and lenders already have contacted him about helping clients sign, witness and notarize their loan documents.

“I’m doing this to help people out,” he said, adding “there are people who have spent 20 or 30 years building a business and now they are about to lose their employees, lose their fleet of trucks or even lose the business. They need this help desperately.”

For more information, contact King at (904) 269-6699.
