NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clay County Board of County Commissioners (BCC), will hold a public comment meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the BCC’s grant submission to the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) for improvements to Doctors Lake Park. FRDAP is funded by the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) allocation as described in Section 375.075, Florida Statutes.
The BCC plans on submitting a FRDAP grant application to the DEP requesting funding for the following improvements at Doctors Lake Park:
• Replacement of the 180-ft long fishing pier at Doctors Lake, bulkhead replacement, addition of a kayak launch, and parking lot paving. The estimated funding request for this project is $200,000.
Members of the public are invited to attend and be heard at the meeting which will be held at Moody Avenue Park, 3510 Moody Ave, Orange Park, FL 32065, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.
