FLEMING ISLAND – Florida Rep. Sam Garrison (R-Fleming Island), Chairman of the Clay County Legislative Delegation, will hold a delegation public hearing on Dec. 19.
The Clay County Legislative Delegation Organizational Meeting will be held from 3-6 p.m. at the Clay County Administration Building, fourth floor, 477 Houston St. in Green Cove Springs. The purpose is to take testimony on issues facing the State of Florida and consideration of local bills.
Interested residents wishing to be placed on the agenda for the public hearing are asked to contact Garrison’s office by email at Courtney.Hoard@myfloridahouse.gov, by Friday, Dec. 16. All materials or handouts for the meeting must be in Garrison’s office at 1835 East West Parkway, Suite 18, on Fleming Island no later than Dec. 16.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Chapter 286.26 Florida Statutes, persons in need of special accommodations to participate in the meeting, including agendas, interpreters, or assisted listening devices should contact Garrison’s office.
The Clay County Legislative Delegation Meeting is open to the public.
