GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The season-opening Hunter/Jumpers show and clinic will be at the Clay County Fairgrounds from May 19-21. According to the organization, its mission is to provide the hunter/jumper industry with affordable, quality horse shows and educational opportunities with a commitment to support local businesses. It also strives to remain community-focused in all of its efforts, investing as much into the growth and success of the local economy by promoting and preserving the sport. The season opener will be the first of five events at the fairgrounds. The Summer Soiree will be on June 9-11; Fall Festivities on Sept. 15-17; the Halloween Horse Show on Oct. 20-22; and the Circuit Closer on Nov. 17-19.
