MIDDLEBURG – For the eighth consecutive year, Emma “Santa Paws” Johnson stopped at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office’s Sub-Station to deliver a bag of indestructible dog toys for the K-9 deputies from her Amazon Wish List on Christmas Eve.
Dep. Handler Andy McCrea and K-9s Iggy and Taz gladly accepted the gifts from the daughter of K9s United founder Debbie Johnson. The mother and daughter delivered more than 80 toys to seven North Florida law enforcement agencies on Tuesday – Clay, Jacksonville, Baker, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns counties – to brighten the holidays for the four-legged crime fighters. In the past eight years, Emma has collected more than $10,000 to support law enforcement K-9s.
