MIDDLBURG – When seniors drove through the Middleburg High parking lot Tuesday to get their caps and gowns, they were greeted with a thunderous applause and reception by the school’s facility and staff. “We are pure Bronco family,” said Spanish and French teacher Hope Kessler. “We love our students and we wanted to show them.” Schools were closed a month ago as a precaution to COVID-19 and classes were moved online. Despite having no graduation currently planned, seniors drove their cars to pick up their graduation outfits. Most students decorated their cars, knowing it may be the only unplanned, yet organized celebration they will get. “We miss our students,” said reading teacher Bianca Montoro. “We’re so proud of all of them.”
