ORANGE PARK — The Shepherd’s Center is seeking applicants for its Executive Director position. Christy Fitzgerald, our current Executive Director, has decided to step down. Her leadership has been instrumental in bringing technology updates to our organization and strengthening our membership. She will remain with the Center until a new Executive Director is hired.
The Shepherd’s Center's mission is to inspire dynamic living among older adults through volunteerism, education, and community connection. Shepherd's Center of Orange Park fulfills this mission by offering an Adventures in Learning program in Clay County.
The Executive Director will facilitate, coordinate, and administer all activities, subject to the overall policies, guidelines and directions established by the Board of Trustees. Develop specific plans to effectively implement authorized Center programs and activities in partnership with volunteer coordinators. They will coordinate and provide all other services, fund development, and support functions necessary to achieve the Center’s goals and objectives within policy limits and financial constraints.
