GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Simultaneous drug raids at two different houses on May 27 led to the arrest of six by the Green Cove Springs Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
The agency received search warrants for a home in the 1200 block of Forbes Street and 1000 block of North Street after confidential informants made controlled purchases of crack cocaine, according to GCSPD.
The six were identified as:
• Marcus L. Frazier, 31, was charged with battery against law enforcement, resisting arrest with violence, sale and delivery of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
• Norris W. Smith Jr., 47, was charged with sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school.
• Devin S. Adams, 40, was charged with sale and delivery of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
• Darrick L. Johnston, 51, was charged with possession of liquid THC.
• Ronnie W. Flowers, 52, was charged with possession of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of a school and drug paraphernalia.
• Hazel W. Rivers, 63, maintaining a residence for drugs, possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and deliver and possession of marijuana.
According to GCSPD, officers also recovered a stolen handgun.
