SJRWMD to host virtual, live board meeting on Nov. 10

CLAY COUNTY – The St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 10, both electronically and in-person for the benefit of the public wishing to participate.

The meeting will be held at the organization’s Governing Board Room at 4049 Reid St. in Palatka at 9:30 a.m.

The Governing Board room will be open at a reduced capacity to provide an in-person option. The public also can watch the meeting online and offer comment by phone.

The District will be following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for social distancing, and attendees will be asked to self-monitor for signs of illness or exposure to COVID-19 before entering the meeting.

To view the November board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/november-streaming. The live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.

The public can view the meeting through the livestream at sjrwmd.com and offer comment by phone by calling (386) 329 4500 or toll-free at (800) 451 7106 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. District staff will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.

In-person attendees are asked to self-monitor for signs of illness or exposure to COVID-19 prior to the meeting and wear a mask in the Board room.
