ORANGE PARK – A 43-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested shortly after he was suspected of robbing a Walgreens on Blanding Boulevard. He matched a description of the suspect and was seen “counting a wad of money” after the incident.
Rashon Lee Allen was charged with armed robbery and shoplifting after the Clay County Sheriff's Office accused him of holding up the drug store with a pocketknife Feb. 15. According to the arrest report, $150 was stolen. When he was arrested, deputies recovered $175 Allen threw on the ground.
His bond was set at $275,005.
