GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The City of Green Cove Springs has partnered with CivicRec to implement its parks and event management software solution.
Available from CivicPlus, the integrated technology platform for local government, the CivicRec cloud-based recreation management solution will allow citizens greater visibility into offered city event participation, park programs and youth leagues, and more convenient online registration and payment for these services. It will also allow citizens to search for and reserve community facilities, such as pavilions, fields and meeting rooms all conveniently online.
“CivicRec is a service that has been requested for a while and we are excited to finally offer it,” said Event Coordinator and Executive Asst. Kimberly Thomas. “I think of CivicRec as a one-stop-shopping tool for festival vendors, park reservations and more. Everyone is so busy these days, so this is a fast and easy way to register for events or reserve pavilions, without having to mail in forms or stop by City Hall.”
CivicRec will bring two of the City’s most requested services – registering to participate in events and programs, and reserving City facilities for private events – into one convenient online location for people to both register for and pay. It will also make this process more efficient for City staff, as they can use CivicRec to approve and track applications and payments in real-time.
CivicRec is also mobile-friendly, allowing citizens to search for City events and available rental facilities, register, and remit payment from a smartphone or tablet.
