Peter ‘Herman’ Noone headed to Thrasher-Horne
ORANGE PARK – Peter Blair Denis Bernard Noone is a multi-talented entertainer, who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. He was born in Manchester, England, where he studied voice and acting at St. Bede’s College and the Manchester School of Music and Drama.
At 15, Peter achieved international fame as Herman, lead singer of the legendary Sixties pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits included: “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Silhouettes,”,“Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” “Just A Little Bit Better,” “Wonderful World,” “There’s A Kind of Hush,” “A Must To Avoid,” “Listen People,” “The End of the World” and “Dandy.”
Noone will revive many of those classic hits when he appears at the Thrasher-Horne Center on Oct. 28. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold more than 60 million recordings. In all, 14 singles and seven albums went gold. The Hermits were twice named Cashbox’s “Entertainer of the Year”.
As “Herman”, the photogenic Noone graced the cover of nearly every international publication, including Time Magazine. He performed on hundreds of top-rated television programs and appeared with such luminaries as Ed Sullivan, Jackie Gleason, Dean Martin and Danny Kaye. He also starred in ABC’s musical version of The Canterville Ghost, Hallmark Hall of Fame’s presentation of the classic “Pinocchio” (in which he played the title role) and three highly successful feature films for M-G-M: “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” “Hold On!” and “When The Boys Meet The Girls.”
Throughout the 1970s, Noone performed, composed and produced recordings with such artists as David Bowie, Debby Boone and Graham Gouldman. His album with the Tremblers, “Twice Nightly” and his solo effort “One of The Glory Boys” were both critically and commercially successful. With characteristic zeal, Peter took on leading roles in full-scale theatrical productions of Dick Wittington, Aladdin, and Sinbad The Sailor. These live stage spectaculars were mounted at major theatres throughout Great Britain and Noone was highly praised for his outstanding work.

Psychic Medium Matt Fraser appear at Thrasher-Horne next month
ORANGE PARK – Matt Fraser is America’s Top Psychic Medium and star of the hit television series on E! Entertainment.
His readings lead guests through a rollercoaster of emotions from laughing to crying, turning skeptics into believers with stunning details. His dynamic readings frequently include names, dates, and locations he couldn’t possibly know, only adding to his long-established reputation.

Beatles cover band ‘1964’ coming to Thrasher-Horne on April 13
ORANGE PARK – The band "1964" focuses on the quintessential moment in history when The Beatles actually played before a live audience. The Beatles toured the world in the early 1960's, but now only a precious few remain who saw them live, who felt the "mania" that brought them to world acclaim.
Today, all that remains are a few scant memories and some captured images in pictures and on poor-quality film and video.
The cover band hopes to rekindle those magical moments with a one-night show on April 13 at the Trasher-Horne Center. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Viral internet sensations The Hodgetwins performing Saturday night
ORANGE PARK – Viral internet sensations The Hodgetwins are taking the show on the road for one special night at the Thrasher-Horne Center on Sept. 17.
Keith and Kevin Hodge, aka the Hodgetwins, are famously known for their comedic commentary regarding politics, current events, fitness tips and relationship advice across their several YouTube channels.

The Hodgetwins, also known as the Conservative Twins, is an American stand-up comedy and conservative political commentary duo. The twins started out as YouTubers, but in 2016 branched out to live stand-up comedy shows as well.

Diamond Rio coming to Thrasher-Horne on Sept. 22
ORANGE PARK – Grammy, CMA and ACM award-winning Diamond Rio will play at the Thrasher-Horne Center on Sept. 22.
Formed in 1989 in Nashville, the band consists of Gene Johnson (mandolin, tenor vocals), Jimmy Olander (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo), Brian Prout (drums), Marty Roe (lead vocal), Dan Truman (keyboards), and Dana Williams (bass guitar, baritone vocals).
Diamond Rio’s most recent release “I Made It,” is their 10th studio album. The title track was co-written by Olander and features 11 new songs. Produced by Olander and Mike Clute, “I Made It” is available on iTunes and www.diamondrio.com.
Diamond Rio signed to Arista Records and in 1991 with the release of “Meet In The Middle” became the first country music group in history to reach No. 1 with a debut single. Plain White T’s headed to Thrasher-Horne Center on Oct. 15

Craig Morgan brings his ‘God, Family, Country Tour’ to Thrasher-Horne
ORANGE PARK – Multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan, has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV personality, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran.

The Marshall Tucker Band’s 50th-anniversary tour coming to Thrasher-Horne
ORANGE PARK – The Marshall Tucker Band came together as a young, hungry and quite driven six-piece outfit in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1972, having duly baptized themselves with the name of a blind piano tuner after they found it inscribe on a key to their original rehearsal space – and they've been in tune with tearing it up on live stages both big and small all across the globe ever since.

Paula Cole, Sophie B. Hawkins to perform on Nov. 20
ORANGE PARK – In 1996, Paula Cole released her self-produced, second album “This Fire”. It was incendiary, a double-platinum smash. The first single, “Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?” catapulted to the Top 10. Her songwriting was loved by traditionalists, feminists, the LGBTQIA community, the whole world.
Sophie B. Hawkins burst onto the international music scene with her 1992 platinum-selling debut album, Tongues and Tails, which included the indelible hit song "Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover", and earned her a Best New Artist Grammy nomination.

Always …Patsy Cline musical headed to Thrasher-Horne
ORANGE PARK – “Always…Patsy Cline” has enjoyed great success all over the United States, including a successful run off-Broadway. It has been one of the most produced musicals in America according to American Theatre Magazine. “Always…Patsy Cline” has also been enjoyed internationally by audiences in Canada, the United Kinghdom and Australia.
The group will perform at the Thrasher-Horne Center on Jan. 8, 2023.
“Always…Patsy Cline” is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death.
The musical play, complete with down-home country humor, true emotion and even some audience participation, includes many of Patsy’ unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Walking After Midnight” – 27 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS… Patsy Cline.”

Blue Man Group coming to Thrasher-Horne on Feb. 4

Vicki Lawrence brings her ‘Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two-Woman Show’ to THC
ORANGE PARK – Emmy Award-winning comedienne Vicki Lawrence is one of the most beloved television personalities of her generation. Plucked out of total obscurity as a high school senior, Vicki went on to become part of the now-legendary cast of the “Carol Burnett Show.” “I went to the Harvard School of Comedy in front of America,” Lawrence said of her Burnett Show training.

In the seventh season, and hundreds of hilarious sketches later, at the ripe, old age of 24, Vicki created her most endearing character to date, Thelma Harper, or “Mama” as she is better known to her fans. After the Burnett Show, Vicki went on to star in “Mama’s Family,” which consistently topped the ratings for its entire six-year run of original shows. “Mama” has attained almost a cult status among her legions of loyal television viewers, who still enjoy her in reruns twice daily throughout most of the country and the world.
No stranger to television, Vicki perfected her hosting skills on her own daytime talk show, "Vicki!," from 1992 to 1994. Ted Vigil brings his tribute to John Denver to Thrasher-Horne
ORANGE PARK – Ted Vigil is a singer, songwriter and a tribute artist. He was born in Seattle and raised in the Olympia area. He has been performing from the age of 10 throughout school in concert, symphonic and jazz bands developing his talents as a drummer and singer.
Vigil will perform his tribute to the legendary John Denver on Feb. 10, 2023, at the Thrasher-Horne Center. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available at thcenter.org.
In 2006 Ted Vigil went on to Laughlin, Nevada, to win the Talent Quest 2006 involving 28 states, New Zealand, Australia and Canada. He then went on to win KOMO TV 4’s NW Afternoon Celebrity Look Alike contest in Seattle. Ted now performs nationwide for all kinds of venues and events. He has wowed the crowd selling out theatres in Pennsylvania and Kansas and has played twice now for John Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Aspen, Colorado.

Thrasher-Horne to host Chicago tribute band, Brass Transit
ORANGE PARK – Brass Transit was formed in 2008 and brought together eight of the most talented and accomplished award-winning musicians. Their sole purpose was to pay tribute to one of the world’s greatest and most successful pop/rock groups of all time, Chicago.
