MIDDLEBURG – More than 70 cars filled with friends and family surprised Dr. Tommie Broach Tuesday night with a drive-by caravan of love at her house. Dr. Broach, founder of The Broach Schools of Jacksonville and retired pastor of Highpoint Community Church, was diagnosed with ALS last year. With many facing loneliness due to being shut in from illness or due to Covid 19, the outward expression of love gave not only her hope but inspired all that were involved. The caravan surprise was organized on a private Facebook group called Tommie’s Road-ies.
