Town of Orange Park mourns the passing of Councilman Ron Raymond
From Orange Park Town Mayor Connie Thomas:
The Town is deeply grieved to announce that Councilman Ron Raymond passed away unexpectedly yesterday evening. Ron was a trusted leader and cherished friend to so many in our community and this news comes as a heavy blow. The prayers and sympathies of our entire Town go out to Ron’s wife Karen and their family. Arrangements are pending at this time and flags in the Town are being lowered to half mast in Ron’s honor.

Councilman Raymond was elected to Seat 1 on the Council May 9, 2017. He took office on May 16, 2017. Mr. Raymond previously served on the Town Council from 1985 – 1991, serving as Mayor from 1989-1990. He served as Vice-Mayor from May 15, 2018-May 21, 2019.
