The Kingsley Lake Yacht Club has been holding a scarecrow contest this month and the winner will be decided on Halloween. This competition was open to all, but
Kingsley Lake Yacht Club representative Michael Romanelli said most of the participants were from the Kingsley Lake community. A poll has been up on the club’s Facebook page and people were able to vote on the scarecrows. The winning scarecrow designer will receive a gift card to Middleburg’s newest ice cream shop, Dreamette’s.
