Hannah Yancey, now a firefighter for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department 31, was a standout swimmer for Ridgeview High School with four trips to the regional swim championships.
Yancey, 28, swam at Daytona State College (JC) and Lewis University (IL, NCAA DIV II) 2010-2013 in 50 free (25.44, 15th at National Junior College championships 2012), 100 free (54.49), 50 back (27.80), 100 back (59.47, 4th at NJCAA champs 2012) and 200 back (2:14.03, 8th at NJCAA champs 2012).
Yancey earned a degree in exercise science from University of North Florida.
