1, Former Middleburg High cross country runner Kennedy Young, who just finished her nurse degree at LaGrange College (also cross country) took a little time in Homer, Alaska and nailed her 90 pound Halibut with a 15 minute fight landing the 56 inch long fish; just slightly as long as Young herself.
2..In Idaho, former Oakleaf High soccer mom Anne Windley took on the Boise River in Idaho for some fly fishing to land her fish.
3..Fleming Island High wrestler Kaden Schaefer took to the waters after a freshman year at Bucknell University to join dad Todd and little brother Lennon for some fishing for shark and snapper; a four footer and a 32 pounder by Lennon near Mayport.
4..Former Clay High wrestler Cody Underwood took his boys from Pro Care Lawn and Pest in Clay County for some Mayport fishing as well.
5..Greater Jacksonville Kingfish aficionado Ron Kanabroskie got a big one for wife Lacey on their most recent trip. Look for Kanabroskie in July's Greater Jacksonville Kingfish event.
