CCSO: Man jailed after
attempting a carjacking on Wells Road
ORANGE PARK – A man was arrested for trying to carjack another man at a convenience store on Wells Road on Jan. 14.
Rad Dziedzic, 35, of Fleming Island, was charged with armed carjacking, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and the use of a concealed firearm during a felony after Clay County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man being stabbed.
When they arrived, the victim said Dziedzic pulled a gun, but the victim kicked Dziedzic to the ground. The victim quickly took control – and the gun – to keep Dziedzic from leaving.
Dziedzic’s finger apparently sustained a stab wound.
His bond was set at $45,009.
