Faith walk: You can make it

You are dealing with issues today that you do not understand. Be assured that you are not alone in that condition. Everyone you meet has things that have happened, are happening or will soon happen in his life that he will not understand.

The wonderful thing is that God knows every issue or problem that you have and He will provide you with the strength to prevail in every situation if you will trust Him.

The Apostle Paul faced many problems. The one that seemed to trouble him most was his “thorn in the flesh.” He said he asked God three times to remove it from him, but the Lord did not do it. Instead of taking it away, the Lord said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you.”

Then Paul quoted the words that God gave him which sustained him in dealing with this “thorn.” Paul said the Lord told him, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” From this the Apostle could say, “When I am weak, then I am strong.”

Paul came to this understanding: “When I am weak in human strength, then I am truly strong (able and powerful) in divine strength.”

Paul learned the lesson that all of us need to learn. God will bring you through every hardship! It may not be exactly the way you want it to happen, but He will do it in His own way. God allows us to experience our own weakness so that He can reveal His strength. He wants us to depend on His great grace not on our own ability.

Referring to escape from trials, someone said, “God will pull you through if you can stand the pull.”

And we can stand it. We can deal with anything! Because His grace is sufficient for us in all things. (Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 12; Isaiah 43:1-2)

Don’t quit! Stand firm! You will prevail by His Grace!
