JACKSONVILLE — Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. members recognized local Rev. Jeffrey Dove for his outstanding community service on Saturday.
At their annual Prayer Breakfast, the Pi Eta Omega Chapter presented Dove as a recipient of their 2025 Helping Hands Award, recognizing those who show outstanding leadership. The award goes to an individual in the four counties the sorority serves, including Clay, Duval, Putnam and St. Johns.
Dove, the current pastor of St. James A.M.E. Church in Orange Park, received a plaque and kind words from the presenter about his dedication and work in the community.
