CLAY COUNTY – The Animal Shelter is at maximum capacity, and dogs desperately need a break from the heat.
The shelter is looking for short‑term weather fosters - just a few days inside an air‑conditioned home can make a HUGE difference for them. Think of it as:
· Saving a life
· Getting free snuggles
· And being a hero who owns a working AC unit
· If you’ve got a cool home, a kind heart, and a little extra time, one of our pups would love to crash with you until the heat chills out (which… let’s be honest… might be never, but we only need a few days).
Help us give these dogs a safe, cool place to rest.
Email clayfosters@claycountygov.com or come into the shelter today to pick out a pup.
