Currently, there is no update from the county on the progress of the incoming Oakleaf Plantation Library.
Clay Today previously reported that at a Feb. 11 meeting, Board of County Commissioner's approved a $750,000 grant to start the project's design plan.
The grant was an agreement with the State of Florida Department of State and appropriated for the State Fiscal Year 2024/2025 by the Florida Legislature.
A request for qualifications was set to be sent before the end of February.
The library will be located near Oakleaf Village Elementary at the end of Plantation Oaks Boulevard.
