ORANGE PARK - Moosehaven is currently clearing land to make way for the campus' brand-new AAA Recreation Center.
The center will replace the former New York Sports Complex and surrounding areas. The AAA stands for Always Active At Moosehaven.
What Moosehaven calls a highly anticipated $10 million project, the 26,495 square foot building will feature an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor patio, showers, a gym, a golf simulator, a multi-purpose room for dance and exercise classes, a poker room, electronic darts, billiards, indoor shuffleboard, a game room, a beverage bar and a bowling alley.
There will also be a Riverfront Pavilion located on the riverside of campus for hosting outdoor activities.
Moosehaven said this massive expansion will promote activity and engagement within their retirement community.
