Barbara Kay Layfield (Lumpkin)
Born October 25, 1959, Passed away peacefully in her home on January 3, 2026.
Waiting in heaven is her parents Fred and Bonnie Lumpkin, her 2 brothers Mickey and Donnie Lumpkin. She is survived by Ison Buddy Layfield, 1 stepson John Ashby, 1 daughter Cissy Carter, 2 sisters Glenda Bennett and Jane Wells.
Granddaughters, Kya and Izzy Bennett, Grandsons, Cody, Brayden and Donnie
And the love of her life, her great grandson Tuff, her favorite niece and nephew Christy Cameron (Lumpkin) and Fred Kirkland and her beloved dog Dinky along with many other family members. She was a long-time resident of Green Cove Springs, and she worked at Gustafson’s Dairy for many years where all of her co-workers considered her family. Kay brought love and light to everyone she knew.
She will forever be missed.
