“The response to BEST OF CLAY was overwhelming,” said Clay Today publisher Jon Cantrell. “We asked our residents to tell us who they believe are the best of the best, and they certainly responded. We expected a tremendous engagement from the public and excitement from local businesses. It will be fun and interesting to see who earned the bragging rights as the BEST OF CLAY.”
It will take weeks to tabulate votes and notify winners, Cantrell said.
Contestants were nominated by the public, and residents were able to cast one vote a day in each category since March 19.
Winners will be announced in a BEST OF CLAY special section on June 6.
Contest categories included: Best of the Best, Auto and Transportation, Business, Community, Eat and Drink, Education, Home and Finance, Medical, Professionals, Shopping and Commerce.
