Orange Park put a 35-7 score on Ridgeview High, with the Raiders dominating the first half.
Oakleaf had to handle two pick-six interceptions by Riverside, but hung on to win 23-17 on the road, one of the toughest places to win football games.
For Fleming Island, first-year coach Tom Macpherson noted that the depth on his young team came through after Clay fought back to a 28-20 score in the third quarter.
For Clay High, first-year coach Jeff Gierke made some key adjustments at the halftime break to get the score to 28-20 in what looked like was going to be another fantastic finish in the always-tough rivalry game at Fleming Island High.
Additionally, Keystone Heights lost to Interlachen, 36-0.
