Posted

Carter James Davis was born on January 27th, 2006 to Kyle and Tina Davis of Middleburg. He died tragically and unexpectedly on Monday July 21st, 2025 at age 19.

Carter attended Middleburg High School, and while there developed an interest in the U.S. Military through the ROTC program. He went on to complete basic military training and earn his high school diploma through FLYCA (Florida Youth Challenge Academy), followed by employment in the automotive industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. He had a true gift with nature and a love for all animals. A Christian, Carter deeply loved his family, friends, and God.

Carter will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved him for his generous heart, his hilarious sense of humor, and his contagious laughter. Friends and family say he was born with a sense of humor, making people laugh, even as an infant. Above all else, Carter will be remembered for his love for his little sister Maysen. From the moment she came into the world, he became her best friend, protector, and most incredible big brother, a role he took very seriously.

Carter is survived by his parents, his sister Maysen, a vast extended family of cousins, aunts & uncles, and grandparents, as well as countless friends who will miss him deeply. Nothing will ever be the same for the people who love him, and even as the world is surely a better place because he was here, our lives will forever be missing something special.

Carter's family invites everyone whose lives he touched to visit at First Baptist Church of Middleburg, 2645 Blanding Blvd., Middleburg, FL, on Friday August 15th at 11:00, followed by a memorial service at 12:00.
