GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Challenge Enterprises recently was awarded a generous donation of $6,822 from the Orange Park Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie/Auxiliary 4365.

This generous donation came after the dedicated efforts of FOE members who organized various fundraiser activities throughout the year.

“This generous donation demonstrates the long-term commitment of FOE to the community of individuals with disabilities,” said Nancy C. Keating, CEO of Challenge Enterprises. “This financial support will provide needed funds to support the training programs.”

Challenge Enterprises’ Adult Day Training Program welcomed FOE Aerie Secretary Desiree Bryan, Auxiliary President Jackie McClellan, and Edward McClellan at Challenge Enterprises’ Green Cove Springs warehouse location, where they watched Challenge Enterprises’ operations firsthand. During their visit, the group witnessed Shred for Good secure document destruction, Food for Clay County Food Bank, production of packing and shipping materials and industrial sewing.

Keating said she was appreciative for the group’s continuous support.

“The tour was great and very informative,” Bryan said. “Unbelievable what Challenge Enterprises has done and how they make people with disabilities feel like they belong and are useful to society.”

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie/Auxiliary 4365 is an organization that is dedicated to uplifting individuals in need while making a lasting impact. In addition, they have supported Challenge Enterprises for more than 26 years. The organization has donated approximately $20,000 over the years, supporting Challenge Enterprises’ mission of helping individuals with disability live an independent and successful life.

“FOE Aerie/Auxiliary 4365 remains dedicated to its motto of “People Helping People” and Challenge Enterprises’ mission purpose is to promote the Power of People and Possibilities for individuals living with different abilities,” said Challenge Director of Marketing and Communications Stephanie Young. “This is a partnership about making a difference in the lives of people.”
