Endicott gets master’s degree at UT-Martin

MARTIN, Tenn. – Middlebury’s Joshua Tanner Endicott received his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Endicott received a Master of Sport Coach and Performance degree.
UT Martin is a comprehensive regional institution in the University of Tennessee System offering 18 bachelor’s degree programs and six master’s degree programs. The main campus in northwest Tennessee is one of five primary UT campuses. For more information, visit utm.edu.

Zivkovic earns master’s degree at Georgia State

ATLANTA – Nicholas Zivkovic, of Fleming Island, earned a Master of Science degree in Sport Administration from Georgia State University.
More than 4,000 students graduated from Georgia State University during the spring 2023 semester at the associate's, bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral levels.
Georgia State University, an enterprising urban public research university, is a national leader in graduating students from widely diverse backgrounds.

Googe earns degree from University of Mississippi

UNIVERSITY, Miss. – Fleming Island’s Courtney Googe was among the more than 3,100 students who earned their degrees from the University of Mississippi in May 2023.
Googe, who majored in Integrated Marketing Communications, received a Bachelor of Science from the School of Journalism and New Media.
“Incredible achievements, character and resilience distinguish Our May 2023 class of graduates,” said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. “They accomplished so much during their years at Ole Miss, and we can’t wait to see all the ways they will pursue their passions and reach their full potential on their paths to a bright future.”

Jones makes Dean’s List at The Baptist College

GRACEVILLE – Middleburg High graduate Johanna Jones earned a spot on The Baptist College of Florida’s Dean’s List.
To make the list, students finish the semester with a grade point average of 3.25 to 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
The Baptist College of Florida is a cooperating ministry of the Florida Baptist Convention and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to offer associate, baccalaureate and master’s degrees in the areas of divinity, general leadership, Christian studies, ministry, ministry studies, biblical studies, Christian education and leadership, psychology, missions, missions with a concentration in aviation, elementary education, education studies, worship leadership, music, music education, English, secondary education in English, history and social studies, business leadership and secondary education in history and social studies.

Trio from Clay earn spots on honor rolls at Alabama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A total of 12,487 students, including three from Clay County, enrolled during Spring Semester 2023 at The University of Alabama qualified for the President’s or Dean’s lists with an academic record of 3.5 (or higher) grade point average or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0. These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.
Aysia Washington, of Oakleaf, was on the President’s list, while Zackary Hickman and Lilly Hudson, both of Fleming Island, were on the Dean’s List.
The University of Alabama, part of The University of Alabama System, is the state’s flagship university.

Benda qualifies for Dean’s List at Florida State

TALLAHASSEE – Kaylee Marie Benda, a 2022 graduate of Ridgeview High, earned a spot on the Florida State University’s Dean’s List. She currently has a cumulative grade point average of 3.904.
Benda is majoring in Environmental Science.

Pair qualify for honors at Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. – Miguel Rodriguez of Middleburg earned a spot on the Kennesaw State University President’s List, while Jarod Yearwood of Orange Park was on the Dean’s List.
Majoring in Finance, Rodriguez is among nearly 5,400 undergraduate students named to the Spring 2023 President’s List.
To qualify, students must achieve a 4.0-grade point average and complete a minimum of nine credit hours.
Majoring in Geography, Yearwood is among more than 7,100 students named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List. To qualify, students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of nine credit hours.
