PANCAKE BREAKFAST TO BENEFIT JEREMY McKAY: March 16 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Dee’s Music Bar & Grill, 2141 Loch Rane Blvd, No. 140, Orange Park, to raise money for Clay County Firefighter Jeremy McKay, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Raffle and silent auction also included.

CHORALE CONCERTS: Orange Park Chorale presents two spring concerts. The first is March 22 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 3976 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville and the second is March 24 at 3 p.m. at Orange Park Presbyterian Church, 1905 Park Ave. Concerts are free, but a love offering is collected to pay for sheet music and other expenses.

BASS TOURNAMENT: to benefit Clay County-based The Father’s Heart, a nonprofit that helps needy families in Northeast Florida. DINING OUT FOR LIFE: On April 25 will be NFAN's 14th annual DINING OUT FOR LIFE® in Jacksonville. Diners check the websites www.diningoutforlife.com or www.nfanjax.org for the list of participating restaurants and go dine out with friends, family, or co-workers. For that one day, 25 percent or more of your check will be donated by the restaurant to help support NFAN's services to HIV/AIDS clients and their families. All funds raised for the event stay in the Jacksonville area to provide help and hope. This event is also held in over 50 cities across the U.S. and Canada. TOUCH A TRUCK: May 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Orange Park Mall, sponsored by the Clay County Division of Emergency Management. Kids get to interact with response vehicles, heavy equipment and other unique vehicles and a hazard preparedness event for families and children. The first two hours of the event will be horn and noise free to accommodate children and/or adults with special needs.
