Donna L. Burnette, born June 21, 1943, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hugh Jerry Burnette, and her son, Troy Austin Burnette.
Donna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her sweet, kind, and generous spirit, and she lived life to the fullest. She loved traveling the world and embraced every adventure with joy.
A woman of many talents and passions, Donna was a retired real estate agent and the proud owner and operator of a local auction house. She was also an active member of the local Elks Lodge for 16 years and earned the distinguished honor of becoming a black belt in karate.
She is survived by James and Sue Tippette, Katherine Tippette, Vester Andrew Maney and Penny LeeAnn Leverett, Whatt Griffin, Tyson Hambaugh, Alani Leverett, and Nova Jolene Maney.
To her family, she will always be remembered as “Nonna,” a loving presence whose warmth and wisdom will forever be cherished.
Nonna, you will forever and always be missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, at 11:00AM at Elks Lodge in Green Cove Springs
