ORANGE PARK – More than four hours of music, food, games, vendors and fun were on March 30 at the Orange Park Town Hall Community Outreach. In addition to festivities offered by the Clay County Outreach Ministry Council and M.I.N.D. for Jesus Ministry, the highlight of the day was the presentation of a Doctorate in Humanity to Clay Outreach President Shirley Eady, left, by Harrison Christian Theology Institution. Eady has worked diligently for years, providing services to the homeless and veterans. During the presentation, Harrison Chancellor and Dean Dr. Chandra Ford said, “Leaders like you represent the kingdom and community in a spirit-filled and loving way by dedicating your gifts, your compassion and time and holding all of God’s heritage and transforming the lives of others. Thank you, Dr. Shirley.”
