FLEMING ISLAND - The Fleming Island Dreadnaughts Pop Warner football organization had two ends of two great games between some tough competition on Saturday at Fleming Island High.
In an early afternoon game, the Dreadnaughts 11-Unders won a 38-12 win over Forest View Athletics behind quarterback Ace Deleon and tough blocking and defense from Everett Segreto, River Vance and Kaius Dixon.
In the 12s, coach Mike Kenny faced off against Pop Warner National finalist Soul Runners of Georgia and battled to an 18-12 loss. Hard running from John Mizell and Cameron Thomas highlight the Dreadnaughts' game with defense from Devan Davis, Rex Wacker and Kaiden Scruggs holding the line of scrimmage.
