GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Green Cove Springs Police Department described its Trunk or Treat as “spooktacular.” While it may not be a word, it seemed to fit after nearly 4,000 costumed children and parents surrounded the Chief Derek S. Asdot Memorial Building headquarters for the annual Trunk or Treat. The costumes and individual booths were extremely imaginative, but one – the Mini Haunted House – was selected as the Grand Prize winner, while Essence of You received the Honorable Mention award.
