OAKLEAF – HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital has site plans to build an Emergency Room at the Oakleaf Commons on Oakleaf Plantation Parkway and First Coast Expressway.
According to the site plan, "This project is a ground-up construction of a new one-story building of approximately 10,860 square feet to be used as an 11-treatment room freestanding emergency department. This emergency department includes a waiting area, exam rooms, trauma, lab, nurse station, restrooms, and associated spaces. The project includes two covered entry canopies, one for emergency vehicle access and one for public drop off as separate entities from the main building. An awning will go from the ambulance entrance to the decontamination room. There are separate enclosures on site for the generator and dumpster."
