Joshua Ryan Blankenship, 35, passed away on March 12, 2026, in St Augustine, FL. Born on October 18,1990, Joshua faced numerous medical challenges throughout his life, demonstrating remarkable resilience and courage in each battle. Despite the imperfections in his choices, his relentless spirit was evident.
Joshua is survived by his mother, Sandra “Sandy” Blankenship of Eastman, GA; his brother, Christopher “Chris” Blankenship (Jamie) of Green Cove Springs, FL; his daughter, Mazzie Coey of Lancaster, OH; and his grandmother, Shirley Church of McRae, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Chuck” Blankenship, and his grandparents, Hibbert “Gene” Church, Charles “Eddie” Blankenship, and Phyllis Blankenship.
Funeral services for Joshua will be held at St. John’s Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine. His loved ones pray for peace and cherish the memory of his enduring spirit.
