Kenneth “Kenny” Greene, beloved father, respected builder, and the undeniable life of the party, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting impact. A proud resident of Callahan, Florida, Kenny dedicated much of his life to shapingthe community he called home. As a general contractor and developer, Kenny built not only houses but entire neighborhoods, developing multiple subdivisions in the Callahan area. His visionand craftsmanship created the foundations where countless families have made their memories and built their lives. Never one to stay grounded for long, Kenny was also a helicopter pilot with apassion for adventure. His love for flying reflected the way he approached life—fearless, bold, and with a spirit of freedom that inspired those around him .Above all else, Kenny was a devoted father. His greatest joy came from his family, and he worked tirelessly to provide them with love, stability, and unforgettable moments. Those who knew Kenny knew that his heart was as big as his laugh, and that his presence could light up any room. Kenny’s passing came tragically and without warning, but his memory will live on through the homes he built, the lives he touched, and the countless stories of joy and adventure he leaves behind. Kenny is survived by his family, friends, and the community he helped to shape. While his time with us was far too short, his impact will last for generations.
The tribute above was prepared by Kenny’s loving family. A Celebration of Kenny’s life was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Nassau Funeral Home. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Family, friends and all who knew him were invited to gather in his memory, to share stories, laughter, and love—just as Kenny would have wanted.
