Kristal Dawn Glisson, 41, of Green Cove Springs, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
Kristal was born on July 8, 1985, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Kasandra Prior and Jimmy Ragsdale II. She grew up in Clay County and graduated from Clay High School in 2003.
Kristal spent many years working in the service and hospitality industry, where her outgoing personality and natural ability to make others feel welcomed, valued, and cared for truly shined. She was also a licensed cosmetologist who had a passion for beauty, creativity, and keeping up with the latest styles.
Kristal enjoyed spending time at the beach and on the river, reading, traveling, attending live music events, and watching movies. Above all, she treasured the people in her life. She will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, a hardworking woman, and an extraordinary friend whose kindness and friendship touched many lives.
Kristal was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Ragsdale II; her grandparents, Richard and Bessie Prior and Jimmy and Inez Ragsdale; and her aunt, Fayrene Lishman.
She is survived by her mother, Kasandra Prior; her sister, Brittani Hagan; her four children, Alexis, Ryan, Kassidee, and Kielee; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A memorial service celebrating Kristal’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026, in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Brother Curtis Deel officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 pm until service time.
Kristal’s love for her family, her generous heart, and the memories she created with those closest to her will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
