LCDR Patrick J. Gallagher, 95, passed away on April 2, 2026, at his home in Orange Park, FL. He was born on January 2, 1931 in Mocanaqua, PA, to the late Edward Vincent Gallagher and Minnie (Kinny) Gallagher.
Pat received his B.A. Degree from Mansfield University. He served 21 years and retired as a United States Naval Aviator. One of his favorite things was flying the Vigilante aircraft off the Saratoga. He was a Vietnam Veteran, trained Naval ROTC cadets at Cornell University, and owned and operated Pat Gallagher Realty since 1975. He was an avid woodsman, and deer and turkey hunter, a lifetime member of the Gateway Rifle and Pistol Club, and a member of the Florida Striders Running Club.

Preceding Pat in death were his parents; sister, Anne (Morse) Gallagher; brothers, Ed “Bud” Gallagher and Jack Gallagher; and grandfather, Jimmy Charlie Gallagher of Donegal, Ireland.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Betty (Wagner-Karschner) Gallagher; children: Tim Gallagher, Shawn Gallagher, Brian Gallagher, Roxy Karschner, Robby (Jody) Karschner, and Randy (Deb) Karschner; grandchildren: Chris Hirneisen, Hayden (Britt) Karschner, Garrett (Brooke) Karschner, Logan (Helen) Karschner, Charlotte Gallagher, Haleigh (Garrett) Bogart; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue,
