MIDDLEBURG – Saved2Serve, Seeds of Love, Clay County Rescue Mission and Mercy Support Services joined efforts to hold a back-to-school outreach at the Mercy Support Services location on College Drive. A vision that began as hopes of providing some backpacks and school supplies for the students of Clay County, quickly turned into something far greater than any of us expected. As other individuals, businesses, organizations, and ministries came alongside us to support the event, it quickly became more of a movement than an outreach. More than 400 students were served with school supplies, as well as provided clothes, shoes, haircuts, iPads and bicycles. “It was a beautiful day with an incredible turnout,” said Mercy Director of Operations Dean Collins. “The organizations were so thankful for all who were a part of making this event happen and we look forward to serving together in the future to bless our Clay County community.”
