KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – Smith Lake Preserve was the perfect setting for its recent 25th-anniversary celebration of the North Florida Land Trust. Nearly 100 friends, partners and donors joined NFLT staff and board members at the flagship property, part of the Gold Head Branch State Park. Everyone enjoyed guided property tours on the Hixon Buggy, had an opportunity to “meet” our new firetruck, Lola D, a custom-built, large-capacity firetruck gifted to NFLT by the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Fund, enjoyed music by the Remedy Tree, ate barbeque and took self-guided hikes of the property.
