ORANGE PARK – Orange Park Medical Center has selected Dr. Brad Shumaker as its new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Shumaker joins Orange Park Medical Center from HCA Healthcare’s
East Florida Division hospital Aventura Hospital and Medical Center where he has served as Chief Medical Officer for the past year and a half.
Dr. Shumaker has been part of HCA Healthcare for 12 years preceded by 10 years with the U.S. Navy Reserve where he served two tours on active duty and completed his medical training.
During his time with HCA Healthcare he has served as a Hospitalist, Medical Director, Physician Advisor and, most recently, Chief Medical Officer at Kendall Regional Medical Center and Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a Florida Board of Medicine and Surgery license.
