Palatka woman charged with trafficking Oxycodone
GREEN COVE SPRINGS – After receiving a warning for careless driving, a Palatka woman was arrested after deputies found Oxycodone in her car.
Latreasa Marie Rich, 47, was charged with trafficking and possession of Oxycodone after she allowed the deputy to search her car on Saturday, Dec. 20, on U.S. Highway 17 at Corporate Square.
Although she was told she was free to leave, she agreed to the search, according to the arrest report. The deputy noticed white crystalline substances in the front and back of the car.
After she was detained, the deputies found 46 Oxycodone pills in a drug store bag that was inside her purse.
Her bond was set at $75,003.
Man busted for texting graphic photos to 13-year-old
ORANGE PARK – A 26-year-old man was arrested by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office after cellphone records connected him to inappropriate photos that were sent to a 13-year-old.
Leon Cedric Hueckels, of Orange Park, was charged with transmitting harmful material to a minor and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
According to the arrest report, CCSO responded to a call on Aug. 29 after the minor received a text with a graphic photo.
Hueckels' bond was set at $200,006.
