CCSO: Man caught after having online relationship with girl, 13

ORANGE PARK – A 20-year-old man was arrested April 20 after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office determined he sent explicit photos of himself during an online relationship with a 13-year-old girl.
Daniel Charles Raymore Jr., of Green Cove Springs, was charged with in-state personal transmission of an image, information or data to a minor and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
According to the arrest report, Raymore met the girl online while playing “Among Us.” The two then started communicating on Discord, and the conversation became sexual, CCSO said. The mother reported the virtual relationship, which CCSO happened last December.
Raymore wrote he wanted to “kiss, cuddle and have sexual relations” with the girl. He also sent nude pictures of himself to her, CCSO said. Investigators were able to match a photo of Raymore’s blanket sent to the girl with a blanket in his bedroom.

Man charged with stabbing man during robbery of backpack
ORANGE PARK – An Orange Park man was arrested on April 22 after a man was stabbed in the back shoulder with a knife during a robbery of his backpack, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said.
Richard Lee McGuffie II, 28, was charged with sudden snatching with a weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, as well as possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to the arrest report, CCSO was called to the Parkland at Orange Park Apartments on Wells Road by a man who had just been stabbed. The interviewed witnesses who identified McGuffie as the assailant. The found McGuffie sitting in the driver’s seat at a house on Lexington Drive in Orange Park.
The victim suffered a 1.5-inch gash and required surgery, CCSO said.
His bond was set at $125,006.

Man busted for trafficking nearly one-third pound of cocaine

ORANGE PARK – Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputies found an unlicensed gun and cocaine in a car after they pulled over a man on Blanding Boulevard after drivers called 911 and reported him driving recklessly.
Wesley O’Neal Estrada Vasquez, 27, Orange Park, was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of the handgun and cocaine on April 24 after K-9 Ory alerted deputies of the presence of illegal drugs during the traffic stop.
According to the arrest report, Vasquez appeared to be impaired when they stopped him. He refused to submit to a field sobriety test, but he later took a breath analyzer test at the Clay County Jail. His samples were .116 and .113, CCSO said. The legal limit is .08.
When deputies searched the car, they found a loaded gun near the center console, and a bag containing nearly one-third pound of cocaine.
Vasquez’s bond was set at $176,008.
