CCSO: St. Augustine man accused of enticing minor girl from home

CLAY COUNTY – A 19-year-old St. Johns County man was arrested on Monday, May 25, after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said he enticed a girl from her home without her parents’ permission after deputies determined they had a sexual relationship since she was 13.

Dylan Andrew Moss was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior of a child between 12 and 16 years-old, interference of custody of a child and unlawful carry of a concealed weapon after CCSO deputies found him standing in the road at 1:48 a.m. with another person near her house.

When questioned, deputies said they found an unholstered pistol in his backpack. They also determined the other person was the minor girl.

Moss’ bond was set at $311,508.76.

Woman three times over DUI limit tells CCSO ‘just arrest me, dog’

MIDDLEBURG – A woman found parked the wrong way in the grass at Henley Road at County Road 220, who later told Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputies “just arrest me, dog,” because she was drunk, was charged with driving with a blood alcohol level more than twice above the legal limit.

Darian Gabrielle Gaylord, 31, of Middleburg, was charged on May 21, after frantic callers told 911 a dispatcher Gaylord was driving northbound in the southbound lanes shortly before midnight before she drove off the road and stopped in the grass near CR 220. When the witness approached Gaylord’s car, she reported Gaylord seemed like she was sleeping.

When deputies arrived, they moved to a safer place and attempted to conduct a field sobriety test. Gaylord stopped the test after she told deputies she couldn’t perform the test “even if she was sober.”

After she arrived at the Clay County Jail and completed a 20-minute observation period, her blood alcohol level was measured at .217 and .272. The level in Florida is .08, meaning her level was more than three times greater than Florida’s limit.
