CLAY COUNTY – As voters prepare for the Aug. 18 Primary Election, the Clay County Supervisor of Elections is looking for as many as 450 poll workers.

Election workers are key to the success of the election process. The process relies on election workers to staff the polling places to ensure voters have a positive voting experience and that every vote counts.

As the 2026 election season approaches, the county said poll workers must be:

• A registered Clay County voter.

• Able to read, write and follow instructions.

• Committed to fairness and accuracy.

• Willing to serve and support all voters.

Poll workers will be paid, Supervisor of Elections Chris Chambless said.
