GREEN COVE SPRINGS - Things heated up - literally - at the Clay County Agricultural Fair with the temperature reaching 86 degrees and the turnstiles humming with the first weekend crowd surpassing 20,000 fans. It was a perfect day to visit the agricultural barns to see the animals like goats, bunnies, ducks, pigs, alpacas, chickens and horses, as well as visiting Ag Town in the J.P. Hall Livestock Barn. The Fair is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 5. The schedule also includes an Easter Church Service at 11 a.m., a concert by Adam Calvert and Brett Young at the Cattlemen's Arena at 7 p.m. and the mullet matchup at 5 p.m. in Ag Town.
