GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Spritzy rain and wind gusts effected attendance at the Clay County Agricultural Fair, but it provided the perfect opportunity to avoid lines on the Midway. Attractions were easily accessible with no waiting. The Fair looks to wrap up its 11-day run with a whirlwind of events, including Thursday night’s Demolition Derby and Mustache and Beard contest, a fried Oreo-eating and Clay County Star Search competitions on Friday; dirt track and flat-track motorcycle races and celebrity and antique shows on Saturday; and lawn mower races on Sunday.
